Day 95
DECEMBER 4, 2019
PUERTO CHACABUCO, CHILE
This is how it looked on arrival:
Sometimes referred to by passengers as Port Chewbacca, this small port is beautifully nestled among the Andes. But, there is very little here to interest tourists. After an hour's drive we visited the newly constructed Rio Simpson Nature Reserve - it's a well laid out facility with paths and abundant descriptive posters, but they all were in Spanish.
Spent the day catching up on book work and the always necessary laundry.
From the dog hills of Patagonia northward , we have been traveling in sight of the Andes. It is only meet and just that we listen to CUSCO playing "Andes".
