Day 37
October 6, 2019
SEA DAY (sunny and warmer - woohoo!)
Viking created an unexpected private cabaret for the "Ultimates", that's us the World Cruisers. After being greeted by Captain Lars and his two, three and four stripers at the entrance of the cozy nightclub called Torshavn, we were treated by Entertainment Manager, singer, and tapdancer Vicki Van Tassel (below), who emceed the event, to tunes from the 1930s and 40s by the entertainment ensemble who are mostly staff with other duties on the ship. The caviar and champagne were a bonus. Totally first class.
Dinner at The Restaurant with two affable couples whom we had never met before completed a very pleasant evening.
Otherwise, it was just another sea day.
So, as we sail away from Canada it's time to say goodbye. (Yes, you know that's just an excuse to play the song "Goodbye" by Sophie Selmani, eh?).

When I tried to read it quickly I initially thought you said they had 4 stippers with tassels. I thought boy that was different from our Viking cruise earlier this year :)
