DUNEDIN, NEW ZEALAND

It was a cool and misty day but, since most of our time was spent indoors visiting two grand homes, the weather was incidental. We started at Olveston Historical Home, a completely furnished mansion willed to Dunedin in 1966. See the following video for details.

Then our excursion took us to tour New Zealand's only castle - Larnach Castle. Photos inside the building are as follows:

As a added attraction we saw Dunedin's Baldwin Street which is the steepest residential street on the planet - as confirmed by Guinness World Records.


Hans Zimmer composed "Time" from the movie Inception. He plays it for us accompanied by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
